The approx. 330 m long, about 150 years old plane tree avenue not only forms the central access axis in the main cemetery Koblenz, but also significantly shapes its appearance.
In a renovation and redesign, the root spaces of the trees were protected as best as possible, unevenness and damage to the pavements were eliminated and the heights adapted to growth.
Lane width, drainage, waste concept, plantings were revised.
