The compensation areas of Messe München were created in the course of the expansion of Messe München in 2006/09 and accentuate Munich's city entrance coming from the east. During the construction work, care was taken to create new habitats for the green toad. The reduced and clear design made it possible to build a compensation area (CEF measure) and at the same time to achieve an open space design that corresponds with the urban development.
