"The gardens of the gardeners"
The Thuringian and Saxony-Anhalt horticulture offer a diverse range of products.
To present this was the task of the hall show in autumn 2011. A consistent design concept was developed, in which the individual topics were embedded. For this purpose, the exhibition hall was equipped with small and larger gardens, which were loosely arranged like a garden colony.

The gardens were characterized by the pergolas, which symbolized the garden gate and the low fences that separated the gardens from each other. Each garden could be individually designed by the gardeners and offered sufficient space for an optimal product presentation. Visitors thus wandered through a vegetable garden, herb garden, autumn magic garden, dahlia garden, perennial garden and dwarf garden, examined fruit and learned interesting facts about hazelnuts, elderberries, herbs and medicinal plants.

The design was awarded the silver medal of the German Federal Garden Show Society.
