Rainwater management with design requirements
For the expansion of the Hörmann company's operating facilities, a concept was developed for the management of rainwater. In addition to drainage in accordance with regulations, the aim was to meet the requirements for good integration into the landscape and clear design.
In a flat landscape with naturally high groundwater levels, we met these requirements with a combination of a retention basin sealed with foil as well as earth basins and troughs for further retention and infiltration.
