The Britzer Garten is one of the most popular and beautiful parks in Berlin. The landscaped garden combines garden art, recreation, leisure and an attractive programme of events on an area of around 90 hectares. In 2002 it was named one of the ten most beautiful parks in Germany, and in 2012 the German Federal Garden Show Society awarded it the honorary prize for sustainable park use.

The defining design feature of the Britzer Garten is the near-natural park centre with an almost ten-hectare lake surrounded by a hilly landscape. Around the lake, landscaped park areas with wide meadows, streams and springs were created.
Numerous horticultural attractions and special gardens blend harmoniously into the overall picture, including the medieval witch garden or the rose garden with over 250 species and varieties.
