With the new construction of the SÜWAG AG administration building, an open space is being created on the formerly enclosed power plant site. The Mainufer and the neighbouring Brüningpark will be connected via new pathways. At the intersection of the paths, the forecourt of the new administration building is created. The linear banded paving gives the open space a lively and concise identity, the sculptural seating elements made of exposed concrete were specially manufactured. A Caucasian wing nut marks the transition from the forecourt to the Brüningpark. As a new connection to the Main riverbank, a generous staircase breaks through the old power plant wall.

The light inner courtyard is framed by the transparent facades of the new administration building. The exotic greenery of various bamboo species planted here in a linear arrangement is already visible from the forecourt.

In order to make the meadow areas in front open and friendly, the terrain was slightly terraced towards the Main and the surrounding wall was reduced in height. This provides an unobstructed view of the river landscape from the cafeteria.
