If you're wondering why there's no sky in the pictures of the Garden of the Diaspora, you're not mistaken. The garden is located inside a building that is currently being converted into the Academy of the Jewish Museum.
Such a garden in an enclosed space is nothing everyday and vouches for many uncertain factors such as low daylight incidence, no natural rain irrigation and a changed climate. Therefore the choice of plants is special, which unfold in a created landscape and technology (water and light) on steel plateaus. The area will be accessible through a large wooden terrace.
Since the end of June, the garden is under construction and will be opened in early 2013, so that visitors and students can explore the garden themselves.
