The new school complex sets an urban accent to the south of the existing grammar school and the new Schwaigfeld housing estate.

Clearly differentiated independent outdoor areas structure the outdoor space:

A publicly accessible all-weather and park area with a generous opening to Georgenstraße, structured with seating walls and trees and bordered to the north by a climbing/noise protection wall and covered pergola for bicycles and trash containers.
A grove of trees as a schoolyard, with a long bench as both a separating and communicative element between the forecourt and the break area.
A lawn playground, surrounded by free groups of trees as a transition to the adjacent park to the south and a "green classroom" with walled beds between the school and sports building.

A high hornbeam hedge closes off the site from the house gardens to the west.
