Carl-Mosterts-Park is a green island in the middle of dense development and streets. In the first BA, a new playground was created. The concrete enclosure of this sand-filled area rises 50 cm above the level of the adjacent pavement and is also a perimeter seating area.
Oversized mikados, cubes and play figures invite the children to play. For the older children, there is a large tower with a variety of climbing climbs and a long tube slide, which is also an eye-catcher that can be seen from afar. For the little ones there are baking tables with a pouring pipe, sand sieve, pans, etc. In addition, there is a swing that was requested by many children in the previous participation campaigns. New benches and raised edging around the play island provide plenty of places for parents, children and other park visitors to stay.
The second phase of construction focuses on a parkour spot that excites and moves many age groups. The spot consists primarily of concrete elements and steel rods, which are specifically designed for the trend sport of parkour in their arrangement to each other.
