Residential complex Klothildestrasse 12-13, Berlin

The new four-storey building is located in Berlin Pankow in the Niederschönhausen district. On a plot of around 1,800 m², the building blends into the neighborhood in terms of use and design. The outdoor facilities are divided into four areas:

The driveway with the bin area, the entrance areas with front gardens directly adjacent to the building in the north, the tenants' gardens in the south and the fire station/playground in the south and the adjoining play area. In close consultation with the building owner, the grounds were equipped with high-quality, low-maintenance shrubs and grasses.

The front gardens, the terraces to the south of the tenants' gardens and the other plantings consist of a variety of perennials and grasses of different heights. The terraces can be accessed barrier-free from the apartments. The children's play area with a sand play area is equipped with a swing, a sand play framed with wooden planks, seesaw animals and wobble boxes. The fire department exercise area also serves as a play and sunbathing area. The garbage collection area to the north of the building is clad with wooden slats.
