Redesign of the outdoor facilities as part of an extension

The existing kindergarten had become too small. In a very cramped location, it was necessary to give meaning to the open spaces that remained after conversion and extension to the existing buildings. Children like niches, narrow spaces, hiding places, and they like closed play cycles: - Up the hill - Down the slide - Around the hill - In a circle on the terrace, the lawn, the sand, etc. Through the formation of hills, trellis and hedge elements, clearly identifiable partial spaces were created. Thus, the open space, which is narrow in parts and bends in various ways, provides an occasion and opportunity for varied play and experience.
