The building plot is located in a gap between two old buildings in Pankow and is oriented towards Parkstraße at the entrance and towards the Panke at the rear.

The property is fenced off from the street by a hedge. In front of this is an approx. 40 cm high plinth wall. There is also a hedge-enclosed private garden in the front area and a bin area. By removing the left-hand first floor apartment, a courtyard paved in the same material is created in the house, which offers space for 20 bicycles or baby carriages and also houses a bench and letterboxes.

Behind the house, the paving continues to the car parking spaces. Mirroring the front garden, the second private garden is located here.

To the north-west is a communal recreation area, which also includes a play area. Here there is a sandy area with a small wooden boat and a ground trampoline in the lawn.

A further lounge area is created below. A covered outdoor seating area offers shade and, thanks to its paving, is also suitable for seating and celebrations for the house community. It is made as a filigree steel construction and is partially covered with plants.

Otherwise, the 5m bank area is not sealed, so that flooding of the Panke can seep away as quickly as possible. A fence separates the property from the public bank, but preserves the view of the water. This fence has the same look as the pergola.

The water from the roof area can be drained underground into the Panke.
