In 2011, an overall concept was developed for the Öhringen cemetery, which was implemented in 3 construction phases. The first construction phase included the first path renovation, as well as the urn burial field in near-natural shade planting. In the second construction phase further paths were renovated and in the third construction phase the section XII on the cemetery in Öhringen was redesigned. This area is located in the immediate vicinity of the funeral home and the Protestant Anna Chapel. The aim was to offer different forms of urn burial and to preserve the existing earth graves. By the curved routing all existing graves could be preserved, the heart of the place form two differently large rondels. These rondels were formed with walls of different heights, and urn sleeves were integrated into the planting beds created here. Along the curved path by the stream, three columbaria were initially erected, and the foundations for six further columbaria were laid, so that the row can be added to as and when required. The paths are lined on the inside with urn graves. Three urn columns were moved into the newly laid out area. The intermediate areas were planted with greenery. The space in front of the funeral hall was enlarged and the existing wall was supplemented. The main path was also renovated to create a uniform image. The existing linden avenue was continued as a one-sided row of trees.
