The Futurium, a museum for future design in the heart of Berlin, opened its doors in fall 2019. The urban gardening project was created for the workshop weeks in spring 2018. It was intended to make urban gardening tangible, provide a platform for the thematically related workshops of the workshop weeks and, above all, offer space for exchange and communication.

A wooden installation, built from used materials, formed the framework for four different modules that represent exemplary themes of the urban garden movement: An area buffet, a forest garden, a wildflower meadow and a typical Berlin balcony. All spaces that make their individual contribution to urban nature and urban food production. Parzelle X was responsible for the design and implementation of the installation.
