Jury verdict: The garden inspires with its simplicity and its generous expanse. The view is guided by a few elements that are harmoniously inserted into the quiet lawn: a flush pool, some rhododendron plantings and a solitary existing birch group.
The open garden space is framed by purposefully thinned out trees, and the view at these points is led into the adjoining landscape space. The transition from the manicured lawn to the tree frame is subtly designed by underplanting with grasses. Functional elements such as a basketball court, parking spaces and retention areas are appropriately placed near the house. They blend in very well with the tranquil overall look of the garden.
