SINAI Society of Landscape Architects mbH

SINAI plans and develops open spaces. We are active in all fields of contemporary landscape architecture and are proud of the breadth of our work spectrum, with the majority of our tasks resulting from competition successes.



SINAI currently employs around 60 landscape architects, architects and urban planners in Berlin and Frankfurt am Main, who accompany our projects from start to finish in diverse and stable project teams.



The founding partners of AW Faust, Klaus Schroll and Bernhard Schwarz, stand for very different focuses in landscape architecture and have always cultivated these differences in planning thinking. Since the office was founded in 2006, SINAI has pursued the goal of bringing these complementary orientations together in the office's quality standards:



In a culture of reflective design, in the precise craftsmanship of execution and in the profound and forward-looking management of project processes.



We see SINAI's inner diversity as a special quality of the office. The transition to a new, collective ownership structure from 2022 is logical for SINAI.

Twelve partners from the SINAI family will now manage the fortunes of the office. Collective participation and co-determination, flexible working and team models will determine the way SINAI works in the future. This will bring our internal organization closer to what we strive for in the production of sustainable open spaces and landscapes - humanity, participation, versatility and resilience.
