The former villa and park of the watch industrialist Erhard Junghans was designed in 1887 by horticultural inspector R. Wagner/Stuttgart. In keeping with the landscape conditions of the Sonnenberg, a park landscape was created according to the English model. It is unique in the region and one of the most beautiful parks in the region. The park as a whole is a listed building. The basic structure of the park was preserved, the historical elements were restored - gatehouse and pergolas at the entrance, rhododendron grove, rose garden with pergola, event area, meadow valley. New contents were added to increase the attractiveness for the visitors: playground for small children, break garden, climbing playground, the water axis between the two ponds with water barefoot path, fountain field, water gutters in the rose garden, water stairs in the break garden, waterfall at the mill ditch. The creation of the park maintenance concept secures the park for future generations. The population was involved in the planning process for the development of the mission statement and in the development of the master plan.
