Culture and community centre Denzlingen

The new culture and community center in Denzlingen is embedded in an open space of approx. 30,000 sqm, which continues the existing city garden to the south and gives it a new center. Wooden decks with an area of approx. 1.600 sqm surround the building, in front of it a lake area of approx. 3.000 sqm with differently designed shore zones forms an attractive environment in the transition to the green space. The choice of materials for the plaza and path surfaces creates flowing spaces from the inside to the outside, between the foyer and the outdoor area. Accentuated lighting underlines essential elements of both the building and the outdoor areas.
