A committed church community, a student competition and a citizen-oriented municipality - and from a dark, overgrown area with the character of a backyard used as a storage area, the former church garden in Diedenbergen became the 'new centre' - a small square that can be used in many ways.
Informal seating and lounge areas, a clear spatial division of the area structure the formerly heterogeneous terrain and create space.
In coordination with the facades of the baroque church, high-quality sandstone materials were used in a restrained formal language - a deliberately simple design without 'design competition' to the existing building.
