Hof im Grünen Winkel - Pharmacy garden

The Hofapotheke in the Grünen Winkel Güstrow is an architectural monument from the 16th century. In 2009-2011, it will be renovated with much love and expertise and converted into 10 sophisticated apartments.
The associated garden courtyard will also be redesigned. At the center is now a new apothecary garden, surrounded by terraces and seating areas that invite both communal and individual use.
Elements of the traditional old town garden courtyards are reinterpreted here, so trellises play an important role in the limited space to divide the space and expand the planting areas.
The warm microclimate allows a Mediterranean-style plant selection. Lavender, sage and rosemary are represented as well as the apothecary rose and real grapevines.
2011 The project receives the building owner award of the city of Güstrow.
