As part of the eco-account of the town of Forchtenberg, the Dendelbach near Wohlmuthausen was renaturalized. The stream had been relocated from its original bed over a length of approx. 500 m and obstructed with invert shells. Within the forest, the brook was relocated to its original, still existing bed and the invert shells located in the brook bed were removed over a length of about 320 m. The brook was then re-naturalized. Within smaller meadow areas, the course of the stream was remodelled.
