In a side street of the busy Mittlerer Ring in Munich-Sendling, no one suspects a garden oasis with Japanese-looking entrance area, flowering plants, spacious lawn and intimate bathing area.
In 2 construction phases, an idyllic and noble garden has been created to the townhouse.
A narrow path of granite pavers, which 'floats' above the adjoining gravel area, and a few steps lead to the conservatory and main entrance.
The terrace, which extends across the entire width of the house, is lined with boxwoods and flowering perennials. Wide natural stone steps lead to the lower lawn. From the terrace, the view sweeps down the depths of the garden across the orchard to the swimming pool.
The rectangular pool is surrounded by wooden decking, light grey, finely brushed large-format granite slabs and oval stainless steel-edged beds with grasses, bamboo, hostas and irises.
By the 90 ° rotation compared to the former location of the pool in need of renovation, a relationship of the bathing landscape between the existing garden house with open fireplace, bathing pavilion and overall garden was established.
After individual tree felling - especially non-native spruces - the bathing landscape today visually extends into the neighboring garden and is selectively lit in the evening.
