The symbolism of plants flows thematically into the redevelopment concept:
Lavender, forget-me-nots and evergreens now define new cemetery spaces. The characteristic landscape architectural design from the 1980s is thereby preserved and revitalized as a contemporary document.
In addition, the Nünchritzer cemetery receives a functional expansion through the construction of an urn steles on the "ribbon of memory" of Lavandula angustifolia 'Hidcote Blue'.
