Due to the expansion of the site with a spacious new building, the outdoor facilities as well as the entire access traffic and stationary traffic were also redesigned. The adjacent forest formed the leitmotif for the design. By preserving the existing trees in the planning area, the forest-like character was maintained, leaving space for peace and relaxation in the centrally located campus area.

An important part of the planning was the greening of the roofs of the new building. The listed old building area was carefully integrated into the design of the outdoor facilities.
