In the middle of Riederwald - a small wooded area in the Frankfurt district of the same name - lies the "Licht- und Luftbad Riederwald", which was opened in 1920. After an intensive coordination process with local stakeholders, the recreation facility was transformed into a contemporary local recreation destination with a water play area, toddler area, sunbathing lawn and a climbing and play area for young people.
The steel sculptures Li Lu were developed as a symbol for the new light and air pool.
