"Loops" Playgrounds at the Landesgartenschau Norderstedt 2011

The different spaces of the garden show grounds were strengthened in their specific identity by Büro Kiefer, Berlin. This resulted in three parks within the park: the SEEPARK, the WALDPARK and the FELDPARK. The three areas were connected by a framing, sculptural promenade strip, the LOOP.

Three different play areas were to be realized in the park areas, which should nevertheless result in a coherent overall concept. Based on the overall thematic and design concept, we developed a WATER LOOP, a FOREST LOOP and a FIELD LOOP, each of which is tailored to the location and the needs of different age groups. The color concept of the guidance system was also incorporated and implemented in a playful way: WATER LOOP blue, FOREST LOOP green and FIELD LOOP yellow.
