The historic open space between the country house and the promenade underwent a transformation from an urban residual area to a versatile city park with recreation and play areas.

Picturesque tree population, meadow areas and perennial plantings combine to form a green oasis. The park gains its special character from the imposing backdrop of trees, which are connected by a ribbon of lawn. The almost 200 m long stone bench gives the park a strong frame and is universal seating furniture and of high recognition value. A planting strip of perennials and woody plants creates a living green filter to the roadways.

A wide, water-bound strolling zone accompanies the lawn under the protection of the plantings. The extensive tree population makes up the charm of the park and presented a challenge in the structural implementation. Its overlapping with a linear zoning creates exciting park spaces and a number of special situations.

Valuable historical artefacts, archaeological finds and the listed façade of the country house are effectively shown off against the calm, new zoning.
