The café garden lies like a green oasis on the edge of the stone commercial courtyards between listed buildings, which are home to various service providers and businesses. It is used for festive events and, especially from midday, by visitors to the "Raststätte" restaurant as a summer outdoor dining area.

As the service area is operated by the integrative company VIA, great importance was attached to making it as barrier-free as possible. The café garden, which is enthroned up to four meters above the courtyard, is connected to the side by stairs and a lift. A glass pavilion for around 100 guests is located at the rear of the garden and is naturally integrated into the garden ensemble. In front of it is a robinia wood terrace, which is shaded by a large chestnut tree and framed on one side by a curved bench.

The paths are designed with Bernburg mosaic stone paving, which, like the Corten steel raised beds, blends in with the palette of natural and high-quality materials.

A variety of recreational options are offered in a small space. In addition to the representative terrace with mobile tables and chairs, there are also spacious double loungers or quiet alcove situations.

The different planting patterns are also staged in raised beds that can be experienced and maintained by wheelchair users. They are stocked with herbs for gastronomy. The embankment retains its rather wild character and has been supplemented with roses, flowering shrubs and grasses. The existing wall facing the railroad area is clad with wooden scaffolding and decorated with climbing plants.
