The outdoor facilities are divided into a spacious and open entrance area with a relaxation zone at the front and a play area at the rear. The existing, orthogonal basic pattern of paths and terraces is taken up and developed further. Hedges indicate the entrance area and give it an inviting character.

The play area (approx. 600 m² direct play area, 600 m² in the neighboring areas of the existing daycare center) explicitly addresses the needs of U3 children. The paved area of the entrance area is continued in width at the rear and serves as a large, paved play terrace. From here, a narrow footbridge leads vertically to the northern play area, the "Dwarf Village", the "Enchanted Forest" and the "Mountains and Valleys". This offers places and backdrops for stories and role play. Classics such as slides, swings and climbing nets expand the possibilities for active play. Different surfaces such as sand, bark chips and grass round off the play value and the experience with materials. All pathways in the outdoor area are barrier-free.
