Stillings House Garden on Architecture Day 2021 Sitting in the sun and shade

Since at the object itself no parking for visit exists, the 'arrival' is recommended on foot or by bike. From the station and bus station Leverkusen-Mitte it is about 1.2 km (exit station east side), from the bus stop Carl-Duisberg-Str./Willy-Brandt-Ring about 300 meters. By bike, the property is about 1 km from junction 66.
Due to the Corona pandemic, hygiene regulations = minimum distance and wearing mouth/nose protection must be observed. There will also be a limit on the number of people in the garden so that everyone (can) feel good about visiting.
The desire to redesign the existing seating area on the north side and supplement a new one in the sun were the starting points for the design. Also bicycles and lawn mowers from the cellar into a garden house should. This also serves as a noise barrier for the sun seating area. The new paving for both areas consists of concrete block slabs with natural stone articulation. A water feature made of Corten steel has also been created. The planting was supplemented and revised.
