The basic idea of the complex is to create clods of greenery as a robust urban framework. The design of the outdoor facilities is based on the orientation of the buildings towards Lake Spandau. The structuring of the open spaces and internal development provides clarity. Elevated plateaus clearly separate public and private spaces and thus provide security for the residents. A semi-public green belt surrounds the complex. Green strips between the slabs offer play and recreation areas for the neighborhood.
