The Langfort leisure park was extended to the north-east of the pond area to include an activity area for senior citizens. The aim was to create a barrier-free intergenerational garden that appeals to all age groups and encourages communication between them.

Although the focus is on an offer for senior citizens, it is not limited to this age group alone, but also invites all those who feel comfortable in the garden or park and are looking for a balance to their everyday working life or space for leisure activities.

In addition to the existing sports and leisure facilities, the implementation of the new garden section in the one-hectare Generations Garden means that a range of all-weather fitness equipment invites you to get active or meet up under umbrella-shaped rock pears to play boules.

Numerous niches and benches offer further opportunities for retreat and relaxation with interesting garden perspectives and views. The paths are accompanied by various garden elements that convey different sensory experiences.

The central path axis of the Generation Garden leads to the adjacent fountain basin, which, with the trembling poplars next to the new scent and touch bed, provides alternating listening experiences.
