Participation project playground Brunnenäcker-Zielwiesen Playground

On an approx. 1250m2 large, in the new development area Brunnenäcker- Zielwiesen situated area, the municipality wanted to realize a playground in the context of a participation project.
After preliminary discussions with mayor Mr. Eble and head of the main office Mr. Stoll and approval of the municipal council, the participation project was presented in March 2005 and the still untouched, future public area including environment was explored.
In April, another meeting took place with the participation of citizens, residents, children and other interested parties. Children had the opportunity to build their own models, which were then presented to the adults. Subsequently, the division of the functional areas, discussion, measuring and modification on the playground took place.
At the end of April, the draft plan was presented and discussed, further participation possibilities in the construction were discussed and so-called playground sponsorships were put up for discussion.
The draft plan elaborated in the numerous meetings provides for a landscaping division of the public area into different sub-areas. Plantings will divide the spacious area into several sub-areas. Different age and interest groups can thus be active undisturbed by each other.
The Brunnenäcker-Zielwiesen playground was completed in March 2006.
