On the basis of the specifications from the framework plan for the former textile site, the possibilities for the ecological upgrading of the watercourse and the creation of an inner-city path relationship were explored. The Aa, which had been partially covered, was uncovered and renaturalised, and an attractive promenade was created with opportunities to linger.
