The planning area should include leisure and recreation opportunities for residents in the form of designed areas with play and recreational qualities, as well as areas left close to nature for quiet recreation and nature observation. Furthermore, pedestrian connections in north-south and east-west directions are offered, which serve the development of the residential area and connection to the landscape.
The children's play area is designed primarily for 6-12 year olds and also has recreational qualities, which are connected in an open form with the green corridor.

Description of the planning
The main focus of the design of the green corridor is the creation of a relatively open park landscape with greening of the settlement structures. The long distance view in the area of the northern terrain high points is to be preserved.

The development will be primarily served by a 3m wide footpath which will run along the eastern boundary and be approximately 260m long. An existing footpath will be used in the southern area, which will be widened to include play and amenity space. This leads onto a larger square, which will be created directly adjacent to the square area of the residential development (turning area). Neighborhood-related events can also take place here. In a northerly direction, a connection is created from the square to the northern green corridor (allotment garden belt).
In a second line, the east-west connection is created by continuing or connecting the existing stub paths in the residential area.
Subordinately, there is a further path connection along the western border through the existing wooded areas. However, this connection will not be upgraded, but will only be gritted with bark mulch as needed.
The routing of the paths in the area of the children's playground is designed in such a way that it only fulfils an access function, but not an overriding connecting function, in order to prevent permanent crossing by 'non-users' of the children's playground area.
The 1st and 2nd order paths are constructed using water-bound surfacing only and are bordered by a band of paving. Design focal points in the plaza area and children's playground area are partially articulated with paved areas. In the area of the playground, these are accompanied by seating walls, and in the square areas, the paved areas themselves partially merge into seating sculptures in the form of designed waves.

The green concept envisages a predominantly near-natural design in the form of extensively maintained meadows and predominantly native, site-appropriate plant species. The transition between the centre and the inner green corridor is emphasised by alley-like tree positions. To dovetail the existing and the new square, a columnar tree form, planted in rows, is intended in the area of the square center.
To the north, the paths are emphasized with loose tree positions I. and II. Order and accompanied by woody plantings to screen the settlement areas.
In order to break up the meadow area, a loose group of trees consisting of fruit trees is taken into account.
In the area of the square areas and partly in the children's play area, small areas of solitary shrubs and ground cover are also used.
Maintenance-intensive herbaceous areas and cut hedges are dispensed with.
In the middle of the green corridor, a small square with amenity quality is offered at the western border. The circular water-bound area is accentuated with 5 stelae, is bordered by a band of paving and is provided with seating in the form of seating mews or by the repeated design element of the paving wave and a sloping circular seating area in the centre of the square. The paving wave is executed within the path area at ground level and raised to 10-40 cm to the adjacent meadow area.

The children's play area is designed close to nature, the edging of the fall protection areas (with the exception of the fall protection plates in the swing area) is waived, there is a hollowing out of the terrain depression and use of wood chips. Only the sand play area will be bordered with wooden palisades and boulders. The main path should be 3 m wide, but only about 1.50 m visually visible, i.e. 1.50 as a water-bound cover and lateral gravel lawn to make it passable for maintenance. Between the sand and climbing game, a widening of the path area is planned as a plaza area, this is enhanced by accompanying seating mews and a tree planting.
Main play element is a climbing frame. Furthermore, a hanging scaffold, 2 double swings, 1 mobility game and a sand playground are offered. For the integration play hills are partly put on by means of excavation material.
The planting takes place predominantly by means of lawn and single tree settings, only to the KITA a woody planting is made.

The small green area to the north of the KITA will be left in its natural state and only enhanced by planting trees.
