The new Waldorf kindergarten is part of the overall complex of the Waldorf campus on the Seeberg due to its structural and landscape form: The angular, extensively landscaped building nestles around the large oak tree and forms a courtyard oriented towards the fruit tree meadow and the school. The generous terrace acts like a landscape stage and is as a play object extended outdoor space of the kindergarten.

The garden consists of the three parallel layers: the terrace, the play meadow and the play band, as well as a near-natural forest playground as a southern conclusion to the forest.

The forecourt with the main entrance forms with the service yard, bicycle and car parking spaces, integrated into existing and newly planted vegetation structures, a functional as well as creatively appealing entrance to the new kindergarten.

The three building complexes Hakeburg, International School and Waldorf School are like self-sufficient islands in the large landscape space of the Seeberg. They each have an independent structural identity. The new Waldorf Kindergarten is part of the overall Waldorf School complex through its structural form: the angular building nestles around the large oak tree and forms a courtyard facing the fruit tree meadow and the school.

Like an orangery, the building opens onto this garden and the beautiful landscape space. The large canopy protects the wooden structure and creates a loggia. The generous terrace from Robinienhölzern works like a landscape stage with views to the Campus and is as play object extended external area of the kindergarten.

The garden consists in the connection to the terrace of a generous meadow inviting to the play, in which the nature-protected oak is merged and a play volume that goes through from north to south: From the toddler play area in the north to swing areas to a multifunctional space with a playhouse and a plum tree in the transition area to the Waldorf School. Further to the south, there is a mud playground, which merges with the natural area at the forest via a planted play hill.

In contrast to the open façade to the landscape area, a protective back is created to the parking lot of the International School and to the planned traffic structure of the road at the Hochwald. The natural wooden facade with the extensively greened roof becomes an integral part of the natural landscape.

The obtusely angled structure opens the view from the existing forest path into the street space. The angled structure has allowed many of the existing trees to be retained. This creates a green buffer between the nursery and the new busy road.

The entrance to the nursery turns away from the road and is oriented towards the wedge-shaped green space between the fruit tree meadow and the new road. The forecourt with main entrance is associated with a service yard with bicycle parking and a garbage area integrated by a wooden-steel pergola, as well as "forest-like" parking spaces. The brick wall of the Waldorf Campus was renovated in the area of the kindergarten and supplemented with a gate system with wooden cladding made of untreated and rough-sawn Douglas fir slats, which is based on the facade design of the building.
