A classic rectangle of paths, accompanied by rows of fruit trees, gives the garden a framework. It is additionally emphasized by the generous pergola (a reminiscence of the historical pergola) and the water basin in the west at the front sides.

Large portions of the precipitation that the roof surfaces of the monastery drain off flows into the pond via open channels. The water is filtered through planted reed zones before flowing on into the main pool. A wooden deck invites you to linger and contemplate the delightful reflections in the water.

A VIA NOVA seat has been placed under the prominent pear tree in the northeast. From there, the visitor has a magnificent view of the baroque overall plant, which shines again in full splendor after the redesign.

The main aim of the planning was to enable peace and quiet and leisure in the garden, which is once again accessible. In addition, it should be usable for events and the orchard should be preserved and enhanced by new plantings.

Before planning began, the monastery garden was inaccessible because the access gate of the kindergarten to the northwest and the enclosure wall and a steep embankment to the south barred visitors. The outdoor enclosure of the kindergarten, which was adjacent, intruded into the historic green space and wire mesh fences marred the appearance.

Today the garden is accessible to the public from the cloister via a revitalized connecting walkway, to the northwest around the church apse, and from the south via a flight of steps. A classical rectangle of paths, accompanied by rows of fruit trees, frames the garden. It is further accentuated by the generous pergola (a reminiscence of the historic arcade) and the water basin in the west at the front sides. The eastern enclosure offers another special feature: real grapevine grows on the climbing wires between the fence columns, forming a green finish over the vegetation period.

Large parts of the precipitation, which the roof surfaces of the monastery drain off, flow into the pond via open channels. The water is filtered through planted reed zones before flowing on into the main pool. A wooden deck invites visitors to linger and contemplate the charming reflections in the water. It is also a stage for events - spectators and listeners will find plenty of space on the opposite meadow area.

Discreet lighting makes it possible to visit the monastery garden at night. Under the prominent pear tree in the northeast a VIA NOVA seat stone was set up. From there, the visitor has a magnificent view of the baroque overall plant, which shines again in full splendor after the redesign.
