The new construction of a production hall with administration creates an enclosed area with the character of an inner courtyard. We have planned generous wooden terraces for both visitors and employees as defining design elements. Water-bound path surfaces are bordered by steel edges or partly by low gabion walls. A Corten® steel wall sets the scene for a gravel garden with moss islands and stone settings and forms the spatial conclusion of the intensive horticultural design. We redesigned an existing rainwater retention basin in the transition area from the parking lot to the courtyard into a water feature that is embedded in the landscape.
