The entrance in the city park "Grüner Winkel" represents an important point in the green system of the city of Lippstadt. Situated between the Lippe and the canal, its newly modelled bow-like shape now makes a visible statement from afar. Seating steps lead down to the water. Above, a wooden stage offers space for urban life; both in everyday life and for urban events. The pathways on the entrance were brought together in a plaza-like manner. In the middle of the square is a large children's play area enclosed by a seating wall made of precast concrete elements.
The duck-shaped play equipment was developed specifically for this site with its strong relationship to the water.
They also make a clear statement and strengthen the identity of the site.
