As a result of reconstruction measures of the Ministry of the Interior, the outdoor area at the main entrance has also been revised.
The entrance area is located on a roof garden area and has thus received an intensive structure. The outdoor facilities serve primarily representative purposes.
Clinker walls structure the areas and create smaller sequences of spaces. At the same time, the required construction height for the planting areas is achieved.
Red paving bricks in the path areas, small-crowned trees for structuring as well as planting bands of roses, lavender and cut Buxus are the further design elements.
The large open staircase on Düsternbrooker Weg made of granite is flanked by 2 pole lights. Low recessed lights in the clinker walls create a discreet illumination of the other areas.
At the main entrance, a sculpture by the artist Jörg Plickat has been installed.
