Residential complex with 100 residential units for state employees, Schachenmeierstraße - Munich

The residential complex was erected as the third building on a brownfield site of an already existing residential complex with an additional 100 residential units and underground car park.

The open space planning included the development taking into account the functional relationships in the context of the already existing residential buildings, as well as the supra-local references for pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
The residents' parking spaces are completely accommodated in an underground garage, so that the open space was largely built underneath.

The U-shaped building arrangement, which opens to the west, created generous open spaces with a courtyard character, to which the terraces of the ground floor apartments are oriented. The large playground located there is also used by the children of the other two residential buildings.
