A sweeping lawn landscape as a visual attraction in a modern leisure garden with orchard.
Along the minimalist building architecture, the house terrace extends with a swimming pool and a shaded seating area under four roof-shaped small trees. An eye-catcher of a special kind is the gently swaying lawn sculpture, on the tops of which stand five umbrella-shaped trees. The lawn sculpture transformed the somewhat recessed niche at the western end of the garden into a highlight, which has an effect from every angle of the garden. The children have long since discovered this unusual playground for new play ideas.
The transition to the lower lying orchard is initiated by an embankment planted with grasses. Adjacent to the central axis of the stairs, exposed concrete blocks rise out of the sea of grasses to provide seating.
An extension of the stairs, a wooden footbridge leads through the rustic orchard to a generous seating area amid old, gnarled apple trees. The seemingly floating steps inconspicuously integrate the seating area into the slightly sloping terrain of the orchard.
The planting is characterized by low-maintenance perennials and grasses with different flowering aspects. Thus, the clearly structured garden finds a natural seeming proximity to the natural landscape character of the surroundings.
