Renovation and expansion of a public playground

An ageing playground on the outskirts of the municipality of Neuendettelsau in Middle Franconia was to be renovated and extended in several stages. After an extensive survey of the existing situation, it was analyzed which play equipment could be retained and which play functions should be added. A redesign concept was developed and divided into several construction phases. A new water playground, a climbing playground with sand play towers, a swing set and a ropeway were gradually built. The existing green space was developed with paths and benches so that it has become an attractive attraction for families.
