The object of the construction task is the creation of the open spaces for the new administration building for the company OPUS Handels GmbH in Oelde as well as the revision of the spaces between the new and an already existing area of the company. Structural architect for the building is the office drewes strenge architekten, Sudbrackstraße 12,33611 Bielefeld. The construction project is divided into two construction areas and also into two construction phases: the OPUS Campus and the OPUS Landscape.

OPUS Campus
In the open spaces, there are essentially four different areas: The access via an asphalt ramp with the parking spaces for the employees, the representative forecourt of the building in clinker paving which is also to serve as a parking space for customers, the open courtyards directly adjacent to the building and the large landscaped area which extends west of the building from Heinrich-Hertz-Strasse to behind the rainwater retention basin. The street-side open spaces take up the linear design concept and with asphalt, gravel and bamboo also the material choice of the Opus Fashion Outlet. The areas facing the forest and the RRB, on the other hand, have a more landscape-like design with meadows, hills and copses. Overall, the areas are to be tightly enclosed on all sides and protected from view. The opening is only to the landscape, not to the public space. Since only a few spacious areas are being created, high demands are placed on the surfaces and on particularly precise, aligned design. These surfaces are the business card of the company and must therefore, especially in the entrance and driveway area, maintain a precise, good appearance in the long term.

OPUS Landscape
The landscape connects the locations of the administration and the outlet. Here is a large hill planted with copper beeches, as well as a path connection.
