Pungol C39 is a collaboration between two authorities in Singapore - the Public Utilities Board and the Housing Development Board. The aim is to introduce a whole-home approach to stormwater runoff in the pedestrian zone. This is the first project of its kind because the integration of ABC Waters design features are applied within a pedestrian zone.

The goal of the project is to achieve blue-green integration while optimizing land use for sustainable stormwater management in a dense pedestrian zone.

The natural drainage system can handle a predicted ARI 3 month storm without overflow and with maximum water quality. Pre-peak flow development over the last 10 years ARI is the frontier of technology. Improvements are created with hydrologic impacts while incorporating aesthetics, biodiversity, and the area is provided as functional space for the community.
