Participation park Weinstadt

The participation park Weinstadt is located between the districts of Beutelsbach and Benzach.
The citizens of Weinstadt should fill the park with life. The park consists of a diverse landscape of private, urban and community areas. Agriculturally used areas, sports and play areas, scattered fruit meadows with picnic and barbecue areas, and a park forum as the heart of the facility form a diverse, open, green patchwork in the middle of the city.
The "Bürgerpark Grüne Mitte" project in Weinstadt is funded and scientifically accompanied by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety, represented by the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development, as part of the Federal Research Program Experimental Housing and Urban Development (ExWoSt).
Created were new path axes of asphalt including new water and data lines, playgrounds, gardens, wooden buildings and several plaza areas in water-bound cover. A parking lot with electric parking spaces, a tree canopy and equipment elements were also produced as part of this project.
