In collaboration with the city of Ingelheim am Rhein, Enviro-Plan planned a public green space for local recreation for the population.

Among other things, a recreational area with a playground for children was created along the Selz river in the floodplain area to the southwest. Due to the immediate proximity to the Selz, the focus was on a natural design, which is reflected in the choice of materials and play equipment. Ideas for the playground were collected in a children's participation process and some of the children's wishes were realized.

The theme of "water" was taken up for the playground design. Various "islands" were created with different play options. One island offers a sand and mud area with a water play area and a water pump with a natural water slide. Other islands include a pirate ship, ropeway, climbing frame and swings.

The green space was crossed by a cycle/foot/walking path to reconnect the urban connecting paths to the north and south, some of which were difficult to access or even impassable. An existing footpath along the eastern planning boundary was completely redesigned with a partly new route and rest area. A plant concept for the accompanying greenery was created and implemented within the road. In some areas, the green spaces are only maintained extensively so that flower meadows can establish themselves over the summer, which are particularly important for insects.

The Selz was also renaturalized by creating a near-natural watercourse structure and flattening the banks. The banks of the Selz and the newly built retention basins for rainwater management were integrated into the design and planting concept and therefore made very natural and tangible.
