Addition to existing children's burial plot and creation of a new burial plot for star children

The design idea is to mirror the existing quarter of the sun and thus implement the idea of the rising sun. In this supplemented children's grave field, children's row graves and children's elective graves are accommodated. The rays of the sun are represented with tread plates or seat blocks made of sandstone. The seat blocks invite in the proximity of the grave places to the stay, seat and commemoration.
The center of the sun, in the existing quarter as sand box formed, is to be planted in the new part with yellow blooming perennials.

To the center of the sun attached a surfacing surface is created, formative thought to it is the earth - the sea, over which the sun rises. This area can be used for funerals and ceremonies as a celebration area. A small playground for children, a climbing nest, will be integrated into the paved area, which in turn refers to the central sculpture of the soul bird in the burial area of the star children.
The soul bird, a sculpture created by Prof. Franz Gutmann, built of concrete and mosaic stones with the help of students of the Droste-Hülshoff-Gymnasium, can absorb the fears, wishes, dreams and thoughts of relatives and visitors in small drawers in its body and thus give comfort. It is borrowed from the bird in the little children's book 'The Soul Bird' by Michal Snunit and Na'ama Golomb.
The Soul Bird will stand by an oval "gravel pond" under small multi-trunked trees. Relatives of star children can remove stones here, paint, inscribe and design them in remembrance and place them again at the gravel pond by the large erratic boulder.

The entire burial area will be bordered by hedge elements, which will also provide shelter for benches.
