The redesign gave the Nibelungenpark residential area a green center in the form of a multifunctional lawn. A circular path surrounds the green center and connects to four pathways.

Different uses are linked to the circular path in cell-like structures and can be expanded in the future. A football pitch with a basketball hoop and soccer goals, a climbing playground with a course for everyone, a table tennis table and a children's playground with a water pump have been created. Benches have been provided along the circular path and at the leisure facilities. In addition to the climbing playground and course, the area also offers a lounge area with a long table. At the

long table with benches where park visitors can meet and enjoy a picnic.

The existing trees have been preserved as far as possible and have been
supplemented in places. The green areas outside the circular path are staggered according to shrub and wooded areas as well as meadow areas that are mowed at different frequencies. Towards the edges, the structures become higher and thus provide a vegetal boundary to the roads.
