				Bremen's Space Center leisure park was closed in September 2004 due to a lack of visitors. The new owner is investing in the "Waterfront" concept: a mall with a structural orientation towards the Weser river.
Accordingly, the outdoor space is designed in a maritime style with a fountain, water bar and Weser lounge. The entrance area to the waterfront can already be seen from the main street through the generously modeled pine and rhododendron park with elevations and depressions. One fountain each is planned on the main entrance side and in the area facing the Weser. Car parking zones are planned on the sides facing away from the Weser. The area facing the Weser is a zone for lingering - for example, on one of the temporary sports areas, under the "Shaded Walk" - an avenue of string trees - or on the "Wooden Deck" with catering facilities.
